Zurich Capital Markets, part of Zurich Financial Services Group, is pulling out of agency securities lending to concentrate on its hedge fund-related business.

Randall Kau, founder and chief executive of Zurich Capital Markets, said the agency business is being closed as securities lending margins no longer make it a worthwhile operation.
