Why Deutsche Bank’s former FX chief is reinventing himself as an opera composer

Before Kevin Rodgers started a trading career that would lead him to heading Deutsche Bank’s global foreign exchange business, he was in a post-punk band called the Happy Refugees. 

The group “made a living in that I wasn’t dead”, Rodgers says, but didn’t take off to the extent that he was able to “get a Learjet” and lead the rock and roll lifestyle.
