Three marriages, two PhDs and one medical doctor. The paths of the graduates unfortunate enough to start their investment banking career in the last-ever Lehman Brothers London analyst class have not been entirely predictable. 

When Lehman collapsed on Monday 15 September 2008, kicking off the biggest global financial crisis for decades, 100 fresh graduates on its UK capital markets programme were still competing for full-time roles, having joined the Wall Street bank two months earlier.
