The UK Budget in March was a relatively quiet one for the financial services sector, but maybe it shouldn’t have been.

As we approach the triggering of Article 50, in order to reinforce the City's status as a leading global financial centre now would seem an opportune time for the government to consider a review of how the financial services industry is taxed.
