Wells Fargo completes takeover of troubled Strong

US banking giant Wells Fargo has completed its acquisition of beleaguered mutual fund firm Strong Financial, including the firm's entire $29bn (€21bn) in assets under management.

Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed but analysts had previously estimated Strong's value at $400m.
