It has been quite the year at Financial News. We may have been around for decades, but we’re constantly looking to push ourselves to be even better.

With that in mind, we’ve launched a whole host of exciting new initiatives this year. Time for a Christmas recap.

One of the biggest changes you might have seen is a big push into wealth management. This comes with a fresh newsletter and free trials for new readers, alongside an inaugural list of the most influential figures in the sector.

Our website also got a facelift. You can now access content from our sister title The Wall Street Journal straight from our homepage.

Our reporters have won a host of awards again this year, got some podcast slots, made a presentation at CityWeek and ran a host of virtual roundtables.

But we also continued to recognise trailblazers in the City with our inaugural Pride of Finance list.

And just for a bit of fun, we brought back our monthly Diary page to take a look at some of the Square Mile’s lighter-hearted stories.

Miss any of that? You might want to join our new WhatsApp channel to keep on top of things.

So what does 2025 hold in store? Our events and awards will be back and better than ever, including our annual FN100 Women dinner, which is pencilled in for next November.

Thanks for reading, and we look forward to your continued support!
