Wasserstein to head Lazard after quitting DrKW

Bruce Wasserstein, who quit as executive chairman of Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, is to take over at the helm of Lazard.

Lazard said in a statement that Wasserstein will become &quothead of Lazard&quot from January 1. &quotIn this position, he will succeed Michel David-Weill in his executive capacities,&quot Lazard said.
