For a glimpse of the future of investment banking, just look at the recruiting section of JP Morgan Chase’s website.
It lists 123 positions open in sales, trading and research - worldwide - and only 30 in New York City. But there are more than 2,000 postings in technology. One recent position, with a unit JP Morgan calls its Blockchain Center of Excellence, invites applicants to send their "resume, LinkedIn profile and/or twitter handle".
