Villeneuve to retire as Instinet chairman

Andre Villeneuve, executive chairman of Instinet, the agency broker and electronic communications Network (ECN), is to retire at the end of the year.

He will be replaced by Ian Strachan, currently chairman of the Audit and Compensation Committees, who will become non-executive chairman in January.
