The government has confirmed that it plans to ease Covid restrictions on 17 May.

In a press conference on Monday afternoon, Prime Minister Boris Johnson will outline the latest data showing the infection rate is at its lowest level since September, meaning we can now enter "Step 3" of the scheduled reopening in a week's time.
