A landmark “elevator pitch” for UK markets being drawn up by City grandees has been delayed again thanks to the general election.

Amid a swathe of negative headlines about IPOs in the City, the Capital Markets Industry Taskforce has for months been working on a definitive blueprint for London’s rebirth as a listings hub.
