UK investors flock to Europe as appetite for US funds slides

UK investors allocated almost £400m to European equity funds last month, the biggest haul in almost a year as savers pare back their exposure to the US over tariff concerns.

According to data firm Calastone, which tracks money entering and leaving funds via financial advisers, fund supermarkets and wealth managers in the UK, equity funds allocating to European companies collected £369m in new money during May.
