UBS Warburg is acting as financial adviser to Candover, the UK private equity firm, on its potential bid for Waste Recycling Group of the UK, according to industry sources.

UBS Warburg's past work for Candover includes advising the private equity firm on the buyout of Picard, the French frozen food retailer, in 2001.
