UBS taps veteran Markus Ronner as chair of Swiss arm

Group chief compliance officer Markus Ronner will keep existing role in new appointment

The Switzerland arm of UBS is to propose appointing Markus Ronner, a 30-year veteran of the Zurich-headquartered bank, as its new chair.

It will also propose Barbara Lambert as a new independent member of its board of directors, the lender and its Swiss subsidiary said on 6 December.
