UBS strategist defects to JP Morgan from top-rated team

Walter Kemmsies has become the latest equity strategist to leave UBS, only a few months after the Swiss bank took the top European strategy award in the 2003 Thomson Extel Survey.

Kemmsies has joined JP Morgan as a European equity strategist responsible for European equity strategy and asset allocation. He will report directly to Abhijit Chakrabortti, chief global equity strategist, in London.
