UBS stages hiring coup, poaches top private banker

UBS has hired Vinay Gandhi from JP Morgan Private Bank to lead the Swiss bank's efforts in South Asia.

Gandhi was poached by UBS after less than six weeks in his position as heading JP Morgan's private banking efforts in South Asia. He was recruited from Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management, where he was head of South Asia.
