UBS has promoted a former Credit Suisse dealmaker to lead its UK M&A business as it continues to reshape its European investment banking team.
Joe Hannon has been named head of UK M&A, according to a memo seen by Financial News. His promotion follows UBS’s move to shift Philipp Beck from Switzerland to London to head up its M&A team in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
