Marcel Ospel, chairman of UBS and the Swiss bank's highest paid board director, saw his compensation rise 13% to Sfr24m (€15.3m) last year as group net profits soared three-quarters to a record Sfr14bn.

Last year's pay package was boosted Sfr21.3m by higher cash and restricted share incentive awards.
