UBS has hired a senior executive to develop closer ties with clients in Europe as it looks to sell its products across divisions.

The Swiss bank has named Magdalena Gatzinska as vice chair for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, according to a memo announcing the appointment seen by Financial News.
