Turquoise suffers first trading glitch

Turquoise, the European equity trading system set for launch next week, suffered its first technical glitch while testing yesterday as a firewall crashed leaving some brokers unable to trade for “a few minutes”.

Turquoise said today that a firewall crashed while the system was being tested by brokers yesterday, forcing customers to move to a back-up.
