Trump’s push to ditch quarterly reporting could lure more UK firms to US, City warns

Ditching a requirement for US companies to report financial results every quarter could push more UK firms to list in New York, according to City veterans.  

US president Donald Trump earlier this month revived a long-running debate over the frequency of corporate earnings statements, arguing they should be required every six months, rather than on the current three-month cycle.
