Deutsche Bank promoted a trio of bankers. Hoby Buvat, who is currently co-head of capital markets for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at Deutsche Bank, will run a newly-created division called corporate private solutions. Meanwhile, dealmakers Marc Fratepietro and Mark Lewellen have been promoted to global co-heads of debt capital markets.

Citigroup hired a UBS dealmaker to lead its coverage of the transportation sector in Europe as it continues to add senior investment bankers. Arnould Fremy joined Citigroup as head of UK, Europe and Middle East and Africa transportation, according to a memo seen by Financial News.
