Schroders unveiled a fresh roster of leaders for its wealth business as it sets its sights on becoming a front-runner in the high net worth market. Alexander Pronk, who has previously worked at Goldman Sachs, UBS and Credit Suisse, was appointed chief executive of Europe and the Middle East. Schroders also poached Andreas Piepke from HSBC’s private bank in Switzerland as global chief operating officer of its wealth business, and Citigroup’s Mark Pickering to serve as global head of banking, lending and trading.
