Thomson TradeWeb, the electronic fixed income exchange, is launching TradeWeb IRS, a US dollar-denominated interest rate swap platform, with the support of seven major dealers.

JP Morgan, Merrill Lynch, HSBC and Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein are among those backing the platform which is due to be launched before September.
