Top Russian adviser joins JP Morgan

JP Morgan has hired a former British ambassador to Russia that has advised oil company BP and HSBC to push the expansion of the US bank in the country.

Roderic Lyne, who has advised BP and HSBC on their dealings in Russia as well as sitting on the board of one of Russian telecoms group Altimo, has joined JP Morgan as a senior adviser.
