One of the most senior consultants at Mercer Investment Consulting, Andy Green, has quit as European director at the consultancy to become a partner at accounting firm Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu.

Green's departure follows the decision of Bill Muysken, former head of alternatives research at Mercer, to join fund manager Thames River to help develop its fund of hedge funds initiative.
