Top analyst quits Tribeca for Jabre

A senior analyst has left Tribeca, Citigroup's hedge fund business, to join the new firm established by Philippe Jabre, who was fined by the Financial Services Authority last year for inadvertent market abuse.

Ziad Tabet resigned from Tribeca to join Jabre Capital Partners in Geneva, according to a spokeswoman for Citigroup. He is moving with Jeremy Tower, who was an intern at Tribeca, the spokeswoman said.
