Libor rigger Tom Hayes has lost an appeal to overturn his conviction, in a 27 March decision against the former trader.

Hayes’ case was referred to the Court of Appeal on 6 July following an assessment by the Criminal Cases Review Commission. The independent review body asked the appeal court to “clarify whether the right legal approach was taken in Mr Hayes’ case”.
