Fund managers leave Odey Asset Management for rival boutique where they will launch a global equities strategy

Star global equities managers Simon Todd and Michael Nickson have left Odey Asset Management just six months after joining the company. They are set to join a rival boutique.

Todd and Nickson have left the company and are expected to join Majedie Asset Management in the autumn where they will launch a global equities strategy, according to a statement from the boutique today. They left MFS Investment Management in April last year, and joined Odey in December to launch a global equities fund.
