Texas Teachers hires former Bridgewater chief

The $100bn (€78bn) Teachers' Retirement System of Texas, one of the US' biggest pension funds, has hired the head of a $145bn asset manager for five months last year as its new chief investment officer.

Britt Harris was chief executive at Bridgewater Associates, one of the biggest hedge funds in the world, between February and July last year.
