Guy Hands, the founder and sole shareholder in Terra Firma Capital Partners, received no dividend last year as the private equity firm focused on investing in the business ahead of a fresh fundraising push.

Accounts filed by Terra Firma at Companies House show that Hands, who also chairs and is chief investment officer at the firm he spun out of Japanese bank Nomura in 2002, was not paid a dividend for the financial year to the end of March 2017.
