Switzerland's Vontobel to cede family control

Heavyweight Swiss fund manager Vontobel is seen as a potential takeover target, following the decision of its founding family to open up its share register.

Through a share reconstruction the Vontobel family is agreeing to reduce its voting control from 80% to less than 50%.
