Colin McLean, co-founder of AssetCo-owned SVM Asset Management, is retiring after almost 35 years with the Edinburgh-based boutique.

McLean set up SVM in 1990 with his wife, Margaret Lawson, and currently oversees the UK Emerging fund, an investment trust focused on smaller UK companies.
