Former Lloyds of London exec to lead new foreign investment unit

The Financial Services Investment Organisation is aimed at encouraging investment in the UK's financial services industry

A new division of UK Trade & Investment dedicated to attracting overseas investment in the UK's financial services industry is to be spearheaded by a former executive director of Lloyds of London.

Sue Langley will lead the Financial Services Investment Organisation - set up this month - and feed into the Treasury's Financial Services, Trade and Investment Board, which is chaired by Charles Roxburgh, director general of Financial Services at the Treasury.
