Diego De Giorgi is back where he feels most at home. 

Standard Chartered’s chief financial officer took a hiatus from working for a big bank in 2021 when he jumped on the Spac craze to become co-chief executive of one of Europe’s highest-profile blank cheque companies, Pegasus Acquisition Company.
