StanChart’s Bill Winters says ESG will help banks win war for talent

The boss of Standard Chartered has said focusing on ESG will help banks win out in the war for talent.

Bill Winters, whose firm currently chairs the Net Zero Banking Alliance, told the City Week conference that “we can’t hire the people we want to work for us if they don’t see us as a force for good.”
