St James’s Place pulls in £2.3bn during final quarter of ‘extraordinary year’

The strong inflows come after the wealth manager was targeted by activist investor PrimeStone Capital over pay

St James’s Place notched up £2.3bn of net inflows during the final three months of 2020 during what the UK wealth manager has described an “extraordinary year”.

According to a business update published on 28 January, SJP's funds under management reached a record £129.3bn at the end of December, up 11% compared to the end of the previous year. The healthy inflows during the final quarter helped bring full-year net inflows to £8.3bn.
