Société Générale to launch Indian broking unit

Société Générale has continued the expansion of its Indian investment banking business by reportedly setting up a broking operation in the country.

The French bank is investing $50m (€34m) in the new subsidiary over two years, according to India's Economic Times. Société Générale was unavailable for comment.
