Charity fund manager CCLA is threatening to vote against City giants including St James’s Place, Legal & General and the London Stock Exchange Group that are "barely complying" with modern slavery rules, if they do not step up their efforts.

Financial services firms are consistently among the worst performers in a corporate benchmark showing how the UK’s 100 largest listed companies are addressing forced labour in their supply chains.
