SJP adds £20bn in assets despite roller-coaster year

The UK's biggest wealth manager has lost senior staff and overhauled its fee structure over the past 12 months

St James's Place, the UK's largest wealth manager, added another £20bn in assets in 2023, despite enduring regulatory challenges and senior staff departures.

The financial advice behemoth now has £168bn under management after reporting net inflows of £5bn and being boosted by more buoyant markets towards the back end of 2023, according to a 25 January trading update.
