SIX Group has reported a loss of more than 1bn Swiss francs ($1.14bn)  for 2023, after taking a hit on its interests in payment provider Worldline and subsidiary BME group.

The bulk of the loss came from SIX’s 10.5% stake in Worldline. The payment provider's stock has plunged more than 70% over the past 12 months, costing the Swiss exchange CHF862m.
