Six battle for Boots Healthcare

Boots, the UK high street chemist and beauty products retailer, has shortlisted second-round bidders for its £1.2bn (€1.75bn) over-the-counter medical products business put up for sale four months ago.

Banking sources said six trade buyers have been shortlisted which include drugs giants Pfizer, GSK, Bayer, and household products group Reckitt Benckiser.
