Singapore sovereign fund buys into Benetton holding

The Government of Singapore Investment has agreed to invest about €1bn ($1.5bn) in Sintonia, one of the Benetton family's two holding companies, Sintonia said.

Sintonia, whose other investors include Goldman Sachs Group and Italian merchant bank Mediobanca, said it had signed an agreement with an investment vehicle directed by GIC Special Investments.
