Simon Robey, the former chairman of global mergers and acquisitions and head of the UK arm at Morgan Stanley, is to join forces with Sir Simon Robertson, the chairman of Rolls Royce, at a new advisory boutique.

Robey, who announced last year he would be stepping down from Morgan Stanley, is to join Robertson's firm Simon Robertson Associates LLP, with the firm filing today to change its name to Robertson Robey Associates LLP. Sky News' Mark Kleinman first reported the move.
