Simon Davies tipped to take charge of IMA

Simon Davies, chief executive of Threadneedle Investments, has been tipped to take over when Lindsay Tomlinson steps down as chairman of the Investment Management Association.

Tomlinson is set to step down after two years in charge at the trade association's annual general meeting in June.
