Shareholders demand answers from free school meals provider

A cohort of investors overseeing more than £3tn in assets has written to the company responsible for delivering food parcels to some of the UK’s most disadvantaged school children, following concerns the meals are falling short of expectations.

During the latest UK lockdown, parents of children that would normally be eligible for free school meals are being offered food parcels or vouchers worth around £30 a week.
