SG Corporate & Investment Banking has recruited Professor Gian Maria Gros-Pietro, chairman of Autostrade, the Italian toll motorway operator, to the newly-created role of senior adviser in Italy after making similar appointments in Germany and Spain last year.

Gros-Pietro will be based in Rome and will advise the French bank on its development in Italy and winning clients including industrial corporations, financial institutions, and public entities.
