The UK's Serious Fraud Office will put three former Barclays traders accused of rigging a key European interest rate back on trial after a UK court failed to reach a verdict in their case.
The SFO on Thursday said that Colin Bermingham, Carlo Palombo and Sisse Bohart would be retried in January for conspiracy to defraud by manipulating the Euro Interbank Offered Rate — or Euribor — between 2005 and 2009, a spokeswoman confirmed.
