SFO investigating software problems ‘at speed’ as probe continues

Experts say how the fraud office deals with serious disclosure issues will define its new CEO’s tenure

The Serious Fraud Office will shortly release the results of a review into software failures that have dogged the prosecutor’s evidence disclosure systems.

In April, the SFO said it was probing past and present cases and writing to defendants after the Financial Times reported that an internal memo had raised issues with disclosure tools while the authority was building its bribery case against London Mining.
