Second top executive resigns from AP3

A-P Fonden 3, one of the Swedish national pension funds, has been dealt another blow with the resignation of Niklas Ekvall, chief investment officer and deputy chief executive. It comes less than two months after chief executive Tomas Nicolin decided to quit.

Ekvall is joining Carnegie Asset Management, the fund arm of the Nordic investment bank, where he will head asset management. He leaves AP3 in the summer.
